Rapidon OD 3 ml Eye Drop – Detailed Information
Manufacturer: Micro Labs Ltd.
Composition: Olopatadine Hydrochloride 0.2% w/v
Type: Antiallergic ophthalmic solution
💊 Uses
Rapidon OD Eye Drop is primarily used to treat:
Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis
Eye itching, redness, or watering caused by allergens such as pollen, dust, animal hair, or dander
It works by inhibiting the release of histamine, a chemical responsible for allergic symptoms, thereby providing relief from itching, burning, redness, and watering of the eyes.
💧 How to Use
Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it.
Squeeze the dropper to instill one drop into the pocket.
Close your eye and gently press the inner corner (near the nose) for about 1–2 minutes to prevent the liquid from draining away.
Wipe away any excess liquid with a clean tissue.
Note: Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to any surface, including the eye, to prevent contamination.
⚠️ Precautions
Contraindications: Not recommended for children under 3 years of age.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before use.
Contact Lenses: Remove soft contact lenses before applying the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
